One of OC’s newer farmers’ markets,the Newport Beach Farmers’ Market, www.newportbeachfm.com, is holding is holding a spring celebration on Sunday May 15th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The days events and festivities will include:
- Cooking demos
- Kid zone
- Live jazz band
- Raffles
- Give aways
- Yummy samples
Vendors at the market during various times of the year include: Arnett Farms *, Beyond Bok Choy *, Ha’s Apple Farm, Hopkins AG, Lynne’s Honey, Maldonado Flowers, Menos Farms, McGrath Farms *, Pudwill Farms *, Sahu Subtropicals *, Tenerelli Farms *, Valley Center Growers and Winchester Orchids.

The market is located at Lido Marina Village 3400 Via Oporto in Newport Beach.

Slow Food Orange County and the Grain Project have been supporting the good people at Orange Home Gin the City of Orange to help get their dream of a Saturday Farmers and Artisans Market off the ground, and it is becoming reality on Saturday, May 7th! The market will be held at Chapman University’s Historic Villa Park Orchards Packinghouse lot at the corner of Cypress and Palm Avenues from 8am – noon. Please come out and show your support for this highly-anticipated market, you will be sure to see some other SFOC friends.
