Liaison with the Slow Food national office, the local regional governor and other leaders in the region
Runs general meetings
Acts as primary contact for the Chapter and the Steering Committee
Oversees the activities of the Chapter, and ensures that the Chapter is meeting all its responsibilities

Manages and suggests revisions to the budget

Creates members-only and public events that speak specifically to Slow Foods ideal of taste education and raise awareness of Slow Food in Orange County. Some events raise funds for Slow Food charities and membership activities, as well

Works to increase membership and participation in chapter activities
